The other day I was sitting at my desk praying for each specific group that are going on a trip and the word "tired" came to me.
I'm not tired so I thought that this was odd.
With AIM we speak often about listening prayer and I even teach it, yet I always am thrilled when I do hear His voice.
If you're in full time, part time, or volunteer I want to encourage you.
When I was serving at youth pastor I would spend some time weeping before my Daddy God because at times I felt that I was alone and just "tired" of being the one to push change.

When you don't have that much to give, give that much!
It's at those times of feeling low we can obtain the power in which God wants to unleash to us.
The way I see it is satan wants us to be that low.
When we cry out, when we command our soul to press through there is something happening in the spiritual that is beyond description.

Psalm 6: 6 "
I am worn out from groaning, all night long weeping in my bed
".
Then in verse 8 there is something that happens. Vs 8 "

Away from me, all you who do evil...the Lord has heard my cry for mercy...my enemies will turn back in sudden disgrace.
"

So friends in ministry, be encouraged.
Those who know me have heard me say two phrases that I live by; But God, Big God.
I may be small, BUT God is the strength of my life.
The project or vision I have in my heart I know the Lord has given me that is bigger than me, Big God!
Say that out loud, But God, Big God.

What a great way to start summer ministry.
Pushing through the hard stuff now and having a victorious summer.
If you need assistance in planning some local outreach for when you come back I would love to join you in your efforts, please call my office.
I often hear that the fall is somewhat a slow month because the summer was crazy busy.
We could use the fall to continue the momentum that was established on the trip.

I am praying for you and I look forward to ministering with in years to come.
