This week I remembered that Thursday was going to be a day where the city would pick up your junk.  What a great idea and a great way to clean up the area and also get rid of junk that I've had sitting around, and it's free!  As I drove around I would see piles of junk in front of homes waiting to be picked up.  I even noticed some people going through other people's junk to see what they might want or use or even sell.  I was annoyed because I didn't want this area to be come a place where garbage hunters would come and h unt. 

But in any case this was indeed a day that we could rid our junk for free, however there are some guidlines.  It told us exactly where to place the pile, the time to place the pile, and what was not accepted. 

You're probably wondering where in the world am I going with this. 

Well the more I drove around the area the more I realize the gift we all have.  We have the opportunity to set our junk out before the Lord and He will create a clean heart for us.  But there are times when we have to set our junk out for the whole world to see and that can hurt.  The only guideline is to come to Him and Him alone.  Recently in the Penny Saver there was an add that wrote "Spiritual readings, can help in ALL problems..only $20.00."  Are you kidding me! You want guidance go to Jesus, you want help with that life choice go to Jesus, you want help with love go to Jesus. 

To many times we place our junk to be picked up for $20.00 and all we get out of is failure not to mention going into something that is closer to satan than Christ. 

I don't know about you, but I have placed my junk in the hands of God just so I can be made new, pure, and fresh!
