God will never plant the seed of His life upon the soil of a hard, unbroken spirit.  If you avoid a daily repentance and coming before the Lord, you will soon become hardhearted, cold, and indifferent to the things of the Living God.  We need to be accountable everyday!

What about our devotion to God?

  1. Does the Bible live to me?
  2. Do I give it time to speak to me?
  3. Do I go to bed in time and do I get up on time so I can read the Bible?
  4. Am I enjoying my prayer life today?
  5. Did I enjoy it this morning?
  6. Whem I am involved in a problem in life, do I use my tounge or my knees about it?
  7. When did I last speak to someone else with the object of trying to witness the love of Jesus in their life?
  8. Am I a slave to books, dress, friends, work, ministry, or conventions?
  9. How do I spend my spare time?
  10. Is there the least suspicion of hypocrisy in my life? Am I honest in all my words and acts? Do I exaggerate?
  11. Am I reliable? Can I be trusted?
  12. Do I confidentlially pass on what was told to me in confidence?
  13. Do I grumble or complain of the things of the church?
  14. Am I jealous, impure, irritable, touchy, or distrustful?
  15. Am I self-conscious, self-pitying, or self-justifying?
  16. Am I truly proud of who I am in the Lord?
  17. Is there anyone I fear, dislike, criticize, or resent?  If so, what am I doing about it?
